Who is this for?

The Global Ambassador Program creates a meaningful way for recent college graduates to grow in their calling to impact others while living in an intentional community of other like-minded people.

When and where is it?

The Global Ambassador Program takes place from September through late May in Tunisia, Thailand, or Uzbekistan. It will also include periodic travel to other locations within the region where you live to give you a taste of other cultures and ways to impact local communities. These opportunities will give you a chance to put into practice what you will be learning on a daily basis.

What should participants expect?

The desire is for you to grow both personally and professionally through this nine-month experience. This is an investment into your future. A few opportunities for growth include:

• Receiving a master’s level TESOL certification from Wheaton College.
• Participating in various other courses that grow your understanding of cross-cultural work.
• Increasing your confidence and abilities as a leader.
• Learning valuable skills for living cross-culturally and understanding new cultures and languages.
• Receiving intentional mentoring from multiple experienced leaders.

How much does it cost and what’s included?

The total cost is approximately $29,000–$32,000. This total is an estimate that will be finalized once your custom budget is created with our team. This includes housing, a monthly spending allowance, international airfare, training, and more.

What will mentorship look like for the participant?

You will receive ongoing and consistent mentoring throughout the nine months along with various life-on-life components with your team community and weekly meetings with your team leader to talk through life questions and challenges.

What will a typical week look like?

We anticipate that a typical week includes language learning (Thai or Arabic), time with your mentor, team meetings, teaching, and working towards building a strong foundation in cross-cultural living and leadership. The remainder of your time will be spent with your team and investing in the local community.

Where will the participants live and how will they get around?

You will live in shared homes of the same gender, so you can live together as a team in community.
